Creative industry, as the rising sun burst out activity all over the world, not only has become an important pillar industry in many countries, but also increasingly becoming as strategic industry. The development of creative industries is as strategic choice to upgrade the structure of industry and to change in the main source of economic growth.The concept of industrial relationship, industrial linkage method and related research literature are reviewed in this paper. This article also researched on rising background of creative industry, content, industry classification, as well as China’s creative industry development status and existing problems.The choices benchmark of leading industries are introduced, and make the benchmark to be quantified, then introduces the paper to use multivariate statistics method:principal component analysis, and the two ways to find leading industries. Using the principal components analytic method to choose leading industry from two aspects:(1) Using the principal components analysis for quantification target directly, obtains the quality synthetic evaluation function, sorting obtains the leading industry.(2)The Leontief inverse matrix from the value of input-output table, is multiplied by the weight table after its each line, directly using principal components analytic method, obtains the quality synthetic valuation function, sorting obtains the leading industry. Using the method of leading industry is based on the industry association, elected is strong pull and push the role.Lastly, the writer applies the theoretical model to the reality of China and determines the leading industries that should be given priority. Finally put forward the correlative proposal to cultivate the leading industry in creative industry.
