Study On Innovation Of Training And Use Of The New High-end Tourism Personnel

Modern tourism industry of China has been in the new stage that industrial integration and the need of talent are significant features. The new high-end tourism personnel with multi-field expertise have become the backbone of the development of China’s tourism industry and the emerging tourism enterprises. Academic understanding of the type of talent, however, is not yet clear, which seriously affects the training of the personnel. In this paper, three tasks are completed.First, the definition, types, and characteristics, which are the basic understanding of the new high-end tourism personnel are defined. The new high-end tourism personnel can be defined as people who have both tourism infrastructure knowledge, professionalism, and professional knowledge and practical ability in other basic or applied sciences, which can be applied and contributed to the work of the tourism industry. Currently, the new high-end tourism personnel who dominate the new form of tourism development can be divided into five categories, which are tourism information technology talent, tourism scientific and technical personnel, tourism financial and economic personnel, tourism senior management personnel, tourism medical and fitness talents.Second, according to statistical basis for China’s tourism industry development trend and China’s tourism education system, the demand and supply for the new high-end tourism personnel were predicted to2015, which are800,000and100,000.Third, based on their characteristics, a match analysis of the china’s tourism education system and the new high-end tourism personnel is completed. It indicates that the current tourism education can only help to a limited extent on the training of personnel for the new high-end tourism. Among all features, the creativity is the most difficult feature students can get from tourism learning in school and need we pay more attention to this area in the tourism learning. Besides, graduate students and vocational school students have the greatest potential to become the new high-end tourism personnel, which means we can start the reform from these two levels of education.The results of prediction and analysis display that it cannot meet the needs of the tourism industry for talent within the next three years to train a new high-end tourism personnel in accordance with the current tourism education. This article initiates tourism education reform in order to speed up the training of the new high-end tourism personnel, who can adapt the upgrade of modern tourism of China. At last, series of reform measures are recommended, which are making new high-end tourism personnel training into national strategies, reforming and upgrading of existing tourism education from Higher Education, and establishing a series of new platforms of new high-end tourism personnel training and training...
