| Industrial design has high value-added in the industrial chain, which is an importantpart of shifting from the “Made in China” to “Created in China”. Zhoushan ShippingDesign Base is a provincial-level industrial design demonstration base, and also is theindustrial parks. Since the base was established, the shipping design industry hasdeveloped rapidly. Meanwhile, many problems has arised, such as weak R&D capacity,small-scales of enterprises, the lack of a leading enterprises, and low-level collaborationbetween enterprises, which has produced a bottleneck effect in a further development. Theconstructing of public service platform plays a possible role to solve the problems, but alsois regarded as innovation accelerator for enhancing the ability of shipping design.Through the analysis of design industry development status abroad and public serviceplatform of design industry in China, some revelations have been obtained. Then,according to the current situations of Zhoushan shipping design industry development, theanalysis to necessity and feasibility of construction has been proposed. Finally,significance for constructing public service platform is presented.This article focuses on three parts:1. through analysis of the field in design industrydevelopment, with similar public service platform of design industry in China raised uprecently, main conclusions have been obtained.2. According to the situations of Zhoushanshipping design industry developmental status, the necessity and feasibility of constructingthe platform has been fully discussed.3. Eventually, author shows suggestions for thefuture public service platform, with its operating mechanism and operating mode. |
