| The twenty-first Century is the century of ocean. As the treasure trove of resources andfinal space of human development, ocean will become the main field of internationalcompetition. Getting resources and space benefit from the ocean has become the strategicchoice of economic development of the coastal countries.This articel depthly investigates and classifies the resources of marine tourism in Wenzhou, based on the external environment of marine cultural tourism development, learning from theory research on marine tourism, marine culture and marine economy both home andabroad in recent years. We reviewed the method and experience, fully analysed the deficiency and constraint and propose the strategic conception and safeguards of marine tourism culture development in Wenzhou accroding to the strategic plan of Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee and goverment and status quo of the economic development of the city.This is the first article that proposes the method of cultural tourism development in Wenzhou in the era from Oujiang age to East China age from the perspective of the marine culture tourism development. Firstly applied the combination of marine non research material cultural heritage and tourism development and utilized the theoretical knowledge of sustainable development, industrial economics and institutional economics. This article focus on Wenzhou, whose private economy is well developed but tourism economy is relatively backward and marine tourism has just started and the basic theoretical research is relatively weak.The author has long lived and work in the city and the research would be with pertinency, operability and directionality. The article tries to find a developmental pattern of marine cultural tourism for a emerging coastal tourism city like Wenzhou, hoping to provide theoretical and practical reference for similar cities in China. The conclusions are not necessarily mature but intended to start a discussion. |
