The Study Of Landscape Pattern Changes And Its Tourism Influence Factors In Wuzhizhou Island

The tourism industry is developing fast in the world, and island is one of the most popular tourism destinations in this process, but the ecological environment of island is being damaged by massive tourism development and large influx of tourists. From the research perspective of landscape ecology, this article sets Wuzhizhou Island in Sanya city as research area and explores the dynamic process of its landscape pattern changes and the macroscopical tourism driving mechanism cause these changes, then discusses how to protect the landscape ecology of Wuzhizhou Island in the process of tourism development.This article mainly does research in three aspects. First, explore the dynamic process of landscape changes in Wuzhizhou Island. Based on the high-resolution remote sensing images of Wuzhizhou Island in2008and2012, we get land use maps of2008and2012through correction, enhancement and interpretation. Then we yield the following conclusions by analysis using Geographical Information Systems Technology.(1) Forest land is the dominant landscape type in Wuzhizhou Island and it occupies more than70%of the land area of the island. But during the five years from2008to2012, the area of forest and grass land was becoming small and they were turned to man-made landscape type such as infrastructure land and tourism land.(2) In the process of every landscape type changing to each other,"other land" including open land and unused land was the buffer medium, because when it turned forest and grass land to man-made landscape types, it turned open land and unused land to forest and grass land at the same time. So the "other land" functions as ecological buffer medium.(3) Nature cover landscape was being occupied and separated in research area, and the fragmentation and heterogeneity of Wuzhizhou Island’s landscape pattern were increasing which led its ecology go down.Second, analyze the macroscopical tourism driving mechanism cause the landscape pattern changes of Wuzhizhou Island. We present the correlation between population factor, economic factor and the tourism development of Sanya using correlation analytical method. We yield the following conclusions by analysis. The tourism infrastructure demanded by population factor and profit-oriented investment demanded by economic factor are main driving factors which lead to the landscape pattern changes of Wuzhizhou Island. At the same time, management functions of government is an important driving factor which leads to the landscape pattern changes of Wuzhizhou Island and it has equilibration effect on the landscape pattern changes of Wuzhizhou Island.Third, put forward detail suggestions to protect the landscape ecology of Wuzhizhou Island. We unite the direct planning reasons and indirect driving factors to research the landscape pattern changes of Wuzhizhou Island, and come up with scientific advices to protect the landscape ecology of Wuzhizhou Island from four perspectives of land policy, plan optimization, tourist influx control and ecology balance.
