The relationship between the demographic divide to economic growth research began in the East Asian economic miracle.1970to1995in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong as the representative of East Asia, the demographic transition process with the rapid growth in the proportion of the working age population and to achieve a demographic dividend. And improve the production capacity and saving level of the whole society, for the economic growth have created favorable conditions. However, economic growth in East Asia miracle soon as the population ages and there was a certain recession. Since the reform and opening up, China’s rapid economic role in the joint development and family planning policies, to achieve a rapid demographic transition process, that is a large proportion of the working-age population in the age demographic dividend period. During this period the Chinese economy to create an average annual growth rate of10%achieved rapid development, which is called "China miracle", but with the dynamic change of population age structure, the dividend is changing. This article is under the sixth census and the Chinese Bureau of Statistics released the2013National Economic and Social Development Statistics Bulletin background, Demographic transition theory, the theory of economic growth and demographic dividend theory as the foundation. Firstly, the analysis of eastern, central and western regions in China present situation and development trend of demographic dividend. From the perspective of theory, using the adjusted Solow-Swan model analysis of labor supply, capital formation, human capital accumulation and labor configuration is how to affect economic growth through demographic dividend. Secondly, Using the data from1995-2012for labor supply, saving, and human capital accumulation in the empirical analysis, the results show that the demographic dividend of three regions in our country there is a positive effect of economic growth, and the eastern region of the demographic dividend effect is stronger than the central and western areas. And compare the regional demographic dividend eastern, central and western contribution to GDP. Finally, in order to maximize use of demographic dividend, we suggest the following five aspects:promoting the reasonable and orderly labor flow area, comprehensive development and improve the quality of workers, creating job opportunities and channels of elderly people, formulate and implement positive Fertility Policy, speed up the economic structure and change the way of development.
