Nowadays, the enterprises cannot rely solely on hardware to gain competitive advantage, the software and facilities have become an important source of competitive advantage. The role and status of human resources attract more attention than ever before. Now more and more enterprises realize that staff training can achieve "win-win" effect. Through training, staff can enhance their capability and improve their performance to be able to deal with more challenging work; for enterprises, through training; they can improve production efficiency and the core competitiveness.In this paper, we begin with the theoretical foundation and conceptions related to staff training, and then analyze the issue of staff training and countermeasures. Taking Hunan Mobile ChangSha branch as an example, this paper consists of five parts:The first part introduces the background and significance of the research, makes a review of the research results home and abroad and also indicates research content and implemented methods of this paper. The second part introduces the theories and models of staff training. The third part focuses on the analysis of the problems and causes of staff training of Hunan Mobile ChangSha branch, we first introduce the current situation of its human resources, and then we discover the misunderstandings and problems. The fourth part proposes recommendations to improve the staff training including aspects such as staff training needs, training contents, training methods and training evaluation of Hunan Mobile ChangSha branch combining the actual situation of its staff training. The fifth part states conclusions and deficiencies and makes prospect for future research.Through analyzing problems of staff training of Hunan Mobile ChangSha branch and proposing constructive suggestions, this paper aims to improve staff training of Hunan Mobile ChangSha branch and provide a reference for the same type of enterprise staff training.
