As a impoverished country, Jianchang faced both opportunities and challenges during urbanization period. The research on Jianchang’s urbanization is meaningful to Liao’s west rise.In this paper, a full analysis of the differences between the traditional industrialization and new urbanization, points out that the urbanization problems, put forward new urbanization is more in line with the current situation, more in line with the interests of the people, can promote the construction of the socialist harmonious society.
