Research On Social Security Of Migrant Workers In China

Since the reform and opening up, bring urban-rural structure system of two yuan to solve the problem, the pace of development in the city of China, marketization, industrialization, accelerate, migrant workers become a trend, binding them to break away from the land, and gradually find self occupation have been targeted in the city. Among them, the social security of migrant workers has become the contemporary we must face up to the problem. In the process of city construction, economic development, social progress, has made the tremendous contribution migrant workers groups, but it still can not change the status of migrant workers as vulnerable groups in the city, also can not change their faces in the city of more than city residents survival risk. The lack of social security is the current is especially a concern, because it often makes the migrant workers should not help in predicament, even allowing a tragedy. Migrant workers to improve the living environment, improve the social security system of migrant workers, not only let the migrant workers to feel the warmth of the community, but also can better maintain social order, promoting economic development, promoting social progress.This paper starts with the background and significance of the study first of all domestic and foreign literatures, then reviews the social security of migrant workers in China’s history and analyses the present situation of the social security of migrant workers in China, then taking Cangnan County as a case through the questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis of the causes of migrant workers current situation of Cangnan County, the existing social security questions and problems, finally, according to the appropriate security classification, the principle of gradual and orderly progress, the author thinks that we should construct a classified social security system for migrant workers, put forward the countermeasures to perfect the social security of migrant workers.
