Research On The Social Security Of The Migrant Workers In China

Migrant workers are a middle class that splits out of the peasant class accompanied by the development of social economy,they are those between farmers and workers,whose professional identity is mainly engaged in non-agricultural industries,while household status is still a farmer,they own both characteristics.With the development of industrialization and urbanization,more and more farmers come to the resource-rich cities in order to gain more benefits from the resource-poor rural areas.For a long time,China's migrant workers have not been able to enjoy the corresponding social insurance rights and interests,but also have not established a sound social insurance system.The social insurance issues of migrant workers have become increasingly prominent,which is not only related to the construction of urbanization and the expansion of consumption demand,but also concerned to the construction of full coverage social security system.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the social insurance of migrant workers in China.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic,domestic and foreign literature review,research content and research methods,major work and innovation.The second part introduces the concept,characteristics and functions of migrant workers and social insurance and the related theory.The third part is the current situation of the social insurance of migrant workers in china that mainly derives from the in-depth analysis of the general situation and local mode.The fourth part is the existing problems of social insurance of migrant workers which makes analysis from the incomplete insurance system and the low level of social security of migrant workers and so on.The fifth part is about the experiences of migrant workers social insurance abroad such as England and Germany and so on.The sixth part is the suggestions to solving the problems of migrant workers' social insurance that includes consolidating the social insurance system of migrant workers,improving the level of social security of migrant workers and expand the scope of social insurance of migrant workers and so on.The formulation and implementation of social insurance system of migrant workers in China is a difficult and lengthy process,the process is bound to face all kinds of difficulties.But it is a trend and an inevitable outcome of the social development that the migrant workers enjoy the social insurance rights and interests comprehensively.Through the in-depth analysis of the current situation of the social insurance of migrantworkers in our country and the existing problems,learning from foreign experience on the national social insurance,offering suggestions to solving the problems of migrant workers' social insurance that includes consolidating the social insurance system of migrant workers,improving the level of social security of migrant workers,expanding the scope of social insurance of migrant workers,improving the enthusiasm of migrant workers,strengthening corporate social responsibility,developing the function of trade union,increasing government supervision and deepening the reform of household registration system.
