Although in our country the status of construction enterprises is more and more important, but their economic environment is becoming more and more diversified and information technology, it is a big challenge for construction companies, improve employee performance and improve organization performance is imperative. In this environment, building enterprise project leader is the center of the whole team, so leadership behaviors and styles would be a very big impact on the entire team and staff. The background of this paper is based on the above study what kind of leadership style on employee performance will bring a more active role.Under the above background, this paper explores the mechanism of transformational leadership and paternalistic leadership on employee performance, which found that psychological empowerment played a part in an intermediary role. By looking up the related literatures to design the questionnaire of this article, and then analyze the collected by questionnaire and the results.In this paper, the final conclusions and results are summed up as follows:First, this paper verified that transformational leadership and paternalistic leadership had significant positive effects on psychological empowerment and employee performance. But the effects of transformational leadership is greater than the paternalistic leadership role.Second, it proved that psychological empowerment mediated the relationship between transformational leadership, paternalistic leadership and employee performance.Third, this paper proved that moral integrity and vision incentive dimension had the positive impact on psychological empowerment.The benevolent leadership also had the positive impact on psychological empowerment.Vision incentive and the benevolent leadership positively predicted employee performance.
