In the future, many significant risks and challenges will be faced, likethe huge number of rural populations, contradiction between supply and demand ofresourse, development gap between urban and rural areas, the pressure of labor andemployment, grim situation of eco-environmental, emerge mass urban diseases andso on. Under these constraints, taking the road of new-style urbanization is aninevitable choice.This article start with connotation and feature of new urbanization. The currentsituation and characteristics of new-type urbanization in Hebei province was alsoanalysed systematically and comprehensively. A large number of references and thedata of economic, demographic, social, environmental, life and other aspects of Hebeiprovince was collected and gathered.Based on the information and research of ourpredecessors, combined with the actual, new evaluation index system of new urbanization was established Include6aspects, economic urbanization, populationurbanization, energy urbanization, environment urbanization, social life urbanizationand urban-rural integration. Use AHP and cluster analysis gave a comprehensiveevaluation of the level and situation of new-style urbanization development in Hebeiprovince. Method of regression analysis was applied to analyse main influencingfactors of new-style urbanization development in Hebei province. After that, based onthe actual situation of new-style urbanization development in Hebei province, UseSWOT comprehensively analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities andchallenges of new-style urbanization development. Combining quantitative andqualitative analysis will help to determine the overall development of newurbanization in Hebei province. Finally, new development strategies was proposed toachieve new-style urbanization of Hebei province.Strive to find constructive andpractical concrete measures， in order to promote the development of newurbanization in Hebei province.
