Evaluation Of Sustainable Development Ability Of Resource-Based Enterprises Under Different Transformation Modes

Facing with the restriction of resources and environment, our government are actively exploring the way of sustainable economic development, low carbon economy, green development and inclusive growth, sustainable development have become China’s economic development strategy, The resource-based enterprises which put the mining and primary processing of resources as the dominant, as a micro subject of national economic development, make resource depletion and environment destruction seriously, and their industrial structures are very single. In order to break through these problems and realizing sustainable development, most of the resource-based enterprises will choose to change the pattern of development. Then, when the resource-based enterprises should begin transformation, which direction to implement transformation, and which mode of transformation they should choose. These series of problems undoubtedly are concerned topic in the theoretical and practical area. Based on the related theory of enterprises transformation in the current theory, dividing the enterprises transformation into three kinds, cross-industry transformation, intra-industry transformation and complex model, as XISHUI Corporation, KAILUAN Corporation and YILI Resources for examples, using the method of case study and the existing information and data collected, through the variable weight analytic hierarchy process to calculate the enterprises sustainable development ability before and after the transformation. The results show that in the implementation of the transformation, resource-based enterprises which choose the intra-industry transformation are more conducive to achieve its goal of sustainable development; And sustainable development is based on heavy mutualism and coordinated development of economy, resources, environment and social sustainable development; And these four sustainable developments rely on the unity of enterprise’s strategy, process and ability. At the same time, putting forward following policy recommendations, when selecting transformation patterns, enterprise should fully consider its development status and the risk that it may face in the process of transformation; In the process of the pursuit of sustainable development, should pay attention to the symbiotic relationship among economy, resources, environment and society; In the pursuit of sustainable development of economy, resources, environment and society, should pay attention to the coordination and unity of strategy, process and ability.
