With the reform of China’s rural financial deepening, the rural credit cooperative as amodern profitable financial enterprise system, it is imperative to have a set of scientific,reasonable, and effective performance evaluation system. In the central document of2014,the rural credit cooperative’s function of supporting agriculture is emphasized, whichmaintains the long-term stability of the legal status of county’s legal person, andstrengthens the rural credit cooperative’s responsibilities of serving for “agriculture,countryside, farmers”. This article is based on this background, which analyzes thedomestic and foreign scholars’ research on the performance evaluation. The balancedscorecard module is introduced in the system of performance evaluation. I hope that it willhave certain significance to the reform of the rural credit cooperative.This paper will combine the theory and practice, analyze the performance evaluationunder the balanced scorecard qualitatively and quantitatively. Firstly, this paper introducesthe research background and significance of this paper according to the current relevantresearch at home and abroad, and put forward the content and research methods of thispaper; secondly, it states the relevant balanced scorecard theory; then, it analyzes theproblems and present situation of the rural credit cooperative’s performance evaluation,and introduces the balanced scorecard model. This model no longer chooses the traditionalfinancial evaluation method. It not only considers the financial dimension, but also paysattention to the role of non-financial dimensions; it increases the risk management in thisdimension, emphasis on risk management. In the current competition environment offinancial industry, the balanced scorecard model will measure the enterprise performancemore comprehensively, reasonably, effectively. Finally, it uses cases to analyze the processcard model.
