In recent years, China’s industrialization and urbanization level enhancesunceasingly, at the same time cultivated land is decreasing, the contradiction betweenhuman and land is increasingly outstanding. How to realize the sustainable use ofland resources has become a major issue facing mankind today. Rural landmanagement can effectively increase the area of cultivated land and improve theefficiency of the utilization and land use as one of important way to promote thesustainable utilization of land. The comprehensive improvement of the rural land is akey link in the process of new rural construction and the country has made strategicplans for rural land comprehensive improvement work. It plays an important role inthe allocation of rural land resources scientifically,promoting land, water, road, forest,the village of optimum combination and the promotion of rural and agriculturalmodernization. Reasonable choice land reclamation area is particularly important, soto evaluate feasibility of land reclamation area before carrying out land reclamationwork is an essential step.Based on such background, this article constructed including five secondaryindexes,17three-level index comprehensive evaluation index system of the feasibilityof rural land according to certain principles of index selection,from the theory basisof evaluation of the feasibility of rural land, combined with the general researchsituation at home and abroad, combining qualitative and quantitative methods、macroand micro analysis and theoretical analysis and empirical research method. Thisarticle using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weight methodcomprehensive empowerment method to determine the index weight, and using thematter-element extension model as a comprehensive evaluation model of thefeasibility of rural land. It effectively solve the incompatibility of different types ofindicators, through comprehensive correlation between different level of evaluationindex and evaluation to measure the feasibility of comprehensive rural land, and makeeffective evaluation on the feasibility of comprehensive rural land.This article has carried on the empirical research with Bagong Township of Zezhou County as the empirical object according to the feasibility of comprehensiverural land evaluation system designed in this paper. Research shows that the maletown land reclamation work has a strong feasibility. Through empirical research alsoverified in this paper, the design of index system of comprehensive evaluation of thefeasibility of rural land system and evaluation method has certain scientific and can beused in the evaluation of the feasibility of comprehensive land. The model also can tryto apply to intensive utilization of land evaluation, land consolidation benefitsevaluation work and so on.
