City is the product of development of human civilization progress, and the main cluster center of production such as labor, capital and technology. Since China’s reform and opening up, our urbanization is rapidly advancing, and the urbanization rate has reached51.27%by2012. Urbanization has made great achievements in our country at the same time, it also has disadvantages, such as urban-rural gap, regional disparities of urbanization, population urbanization does not synchronize with land urbanization,severewaste of land, the current management system of urbanization and urbanization development doesn’t fit the urbanization.This is not only conducive to the improvement of urbanization quality, also will further expand the regional disparities, and cause potential social problems, so in the process of urbanization, it need constantly improve the quality of urbanization to solve the problems in the development of urbanization. Urban and rural integration is an essential part of in the quality evaluation of urbanization, the urban and rural integration is one of the important ways to further improve the quality of urbanization. This text takes Wuhan City as the study unit, on the basis of the dates of the related development indicators, such as economy and society to set up the evaluation index system of Wuhan urban and rural integration and the meaning of urbanization.Using factor analysis method to evaluate urban and rural integration of Wuhan from2000to2010years; In software platform of ArcGis9.3, analyzing the changes of center of gravity and spatial distribution characteristics; With Geodate software, analyzing the characteristic of spatial agglomeration of Wuhan urban and rural integration; With Spss17.0software, using correlation analysis method to analyze the main factors influencing the urban-rural integration and existing problems in Wuhan, and putting forward relevant countermeasures and Suggestions. The results showing that:(1)The quality of urban and rural integration of Wuhan is high based on the urbanization and showing increasing trend, which has a great deal of instability. The urban and rural integration comprehensive score of Wuhan roses from3.49in2000to3.68in2010, and it is on the rise as a whole. In nearly a decade of development, it have two peaks that in2003and2008and two troughs that in2002and2006. (2)The space change of urban and rural integration is not obvious. Integration of urban and rural space difference is obvious, and it is roughly the circular distribution, but it is not obvious on the changes over time; The space distribution of urban and rural integration of Wuhan has obvious H-H spatial agglomeration, and it mainly distributes in the center of the city urban area such as Jianghan and Wuchang;The direction of the urban-rural integration center of gravity moving trajectory is relatively fixed in Jianghan, Jiangan district., and urban and rural integration center trajectory has a general trend to move to the west.(3)The problem of development of Wuhan urban and rural integration are that dual economic structure, development of urbanization and urban and rural integration is not harmonious, income gap residents is larger between urban and rural, rural ecological environment is poor.(4) The measures to improve the quality of urbanization in Wuhan are that improv-ing the rural economic development level and narrow the gap between urban and rural; Reasonable planning space layout of urban and rural to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between urban and rural areas; Improve the quality of the rural ecological environment.
