The leading industry is the development of regional economy and the main power source, is to promote the regional industrial structure evolution character. Choice and cultivation of leading industries in line with the concept of sustainable development to promote the regional economic, social, natural and harmonious development are very important and irreplaceable role.This article from the leading industry to support HongYa under the background of HongYa county economic transition, how to choose the leading industry, how to make the development of leading industry drawing the correlation. It is the core content of this paper that promote economic and maintain ecological harmony and social stability. This article from the principle of leading industry, reference and methods from three aspects, according to the Hongya county industrial current situation, using the SWOT analysis method and location quotient analysis of Hongya County Industrial Analysis to evaluate and choose, finally decide dominant industry.The formation of dominant industry and development should not only rely on the role of market mechanism, also needs the government to formulate a reasonable and effective policy to promote. Therefore, this article from the construction of environment of policy of industry development, innovation system, improve the industry policy, develop dominant industry development strategy and puts forward corresponding measures.Finally, taking Hongya County as the research object, in the sustainable development of the guiding philosophy, using the Hongya county industry SWOT analysis model and location quotient analysis, reached Hongya County Leading Industries Selection scheme.
