Firstly, and then the leading industry of the relevantliterature and theory, characteristics and current situation of economic development ofDandong City, from the comparative advantage, economic benefit, correlationeffect,industry growth, demand growth, seven aspects of the technical progress,sustainable development and socialbenefit of the choice of leading industry of Dandongcity evaluation index system, constructs a theory model. Secondly, using the method ofprincipal component analysis to the evaluation index of36industries of Dandong citywere analyzed, and the results of quantitative analysis of qualitative analysis.
