This paper works on the spatial, temporal distribution and influencing factors of fire as a disaster in Zhejiang Province and it’s hot spot regions distinguish, and also provides policy suggestions on the fire safety in Zhejiang Province. According to the previous studies in the fields, and based on the Mapinfo GIS soft,the spatial database of fire as a disaster from 2000 to 2010’s was made in this paper,the fire as a disaster indicators was constructed that analyze the degrees within the different regional in Zhejiang Province.This paper provides several main conclusions. First, fire as a disaster has a large increase from 2000 to 2010 in Zhejiang. Second, this paper shows that the influencing factors has been changed in recent years, electrical fire become the top 1 factor that the fire as a disaster had a large increase from 2000 to 2010,but while paths are different across county and cities. at the same time, fire as a disaster was made by the factor of production operation also increase from 2000 to 2010, Conversely, the fire which was caused by the careless use fire in daily life was decreased in recent years,. Third, the fire as a disaster indicators was constructed that analyze the degrees within the different regional in Zhejiang Province., the result showed that the hot spot regions of the fire as disaster distribute in the developing regions such as Yi wu city, Leqing city and so on. Forth, According to the fire as a disaster indicators,the four degrees of the fire as a disaster which were hot spot region, stability region, fluctuate region and low frequency region was distinguished.
