In this paper, we used dynamic vulcanization technique get POE/PP thermoplastic elastomer, and study the effect of process conditions, vulcanizing agent,coagentand coagent blend on dynamic vulcanization POE/PPelastomer.Analyzed its mechanical properties, curing characteristics and structural morphology by scanning electron microscopy, rubber process analyzer and other advanced equipment.The results show that dynamic vulcanization temperature, dynamic vulcanization speed, dynamic vulcanization time, and dynamic vulcanization feeding methods had a large affection on POE/PP. The properties of POE/PP first increase and then decrease with dynamic vulcanization temperature,dynamic vulcanization speed and dynamic vulcanization time increase,respectively.The optimum condition of dynamic vulcanization temperature, dynamic vulcanization speed and dynamic vulcanization time were 180℃,6min and 50r/min, respectively. Added PP and antioxidant 1010 first, then added POE, added vulcanizing agent the last is the best blending process.By studied the effect of 40% BIPB and 40% DCP vulcanizing agent on dynamically vulcanized POE/PP elastomeric properties,we found that as the amount of the vulcanizing agent increase, the properties of POE/PP increases firstly, then decreases, it reaches the optimum value when the amount of the vulcanizing agent is 2phr.40% BIPB cure system has better performance when 40% BIPB and 40%DCP reached the optimum amount,We found that POE/PP had better performance, dispersed phase distributed more uniform and had smaller particle size, compare to direct method when using the master batch method. The rate of crosslinking and the crosslink density of the POE increased after added coagent. POE/PP had best properties after added HVA-2, the more amount of HVA-2, the better properties. After was the POE/PP of added TAIC, the properties of POE/PP increased firstly, then decreased as TAIC content increased, its reached the best when TAIC content is 2phr. The POE/PP of added TAC had the worst properties, its also reached the best when TAIC content is 2phr.By studied different coagent blend,we found that TAC and HVA-2 blended can significantly improve the POE/PP performance, and the properties of POE/PP becomes better with HVA-2 content increase. TAIC and HVA-2 blended reached optimum when the blend ratio of TAIC/HVA-2 was 1/4.
