Disc refiner is widely used in beating pulp at present. Although beating technology is relatively mature now, there are still some problems such as great energy consumption of disc refiners, the short service lives of the plates and other issues. Plate was working parts of the grinding effect directly, its structure have a greater effect of the quality of grinding, grinding efficiency and refining energy. The purpose of this paper is to study the relation between the plate parameters and the refining energy consumption, to explore the feasibility of computer simulation of disc refiner pulp refining process solution.First of all, summarized that papers on domestic support mill and grinding on the energy-saving aspects, plate parameters and process parameters on the impact of disc refiner refining energy to do the analysis and introduction. Then analyzed the calculation model of domestic and foreign calculation of disc refiner refining energy theory, and on this basis, put forward the new computation scheme, and the friction torque model currently use more together examples are calculated and compared.Then analyzed based on Simulation of pulp mill process computer for disk mill domestic literature data, based on the CFX module of ANSYS software with 2500-11 type HC disc refiner as research object to do computer simulation. Assuming that slurry is Newton fluid, viscosity and density with the test data, the slurry is continuously and quantitatively into the plate, using the K epsilon turbulence model equations. So many kinds of simulation program that given different spindle speed, plate gap.Finally, used the wood chip and cotton stalk as raw material to do experiment. The experimental results show that:the computer simulation of grinding process for solving the refining energy consumption and the experimental results is very close, the change trend is consistent, illustrates the feasibility of the computer simulation method. The research work of this work have very important significance to the optimization and design for plate and short the development cycle of energy-saving plate.
