With the aggravation of the energy crisis, the requirements of survival environmental are urgent, the concept of sustainable development has penetrated into all aspects of people’s lives, in this context, the green building concept emerge as the times required. Various countries and regions have put forward their own evaluation standard for green building to realize a better implementation of green building, to reduce energy consumption of building and to improve the building thermal comfort. In practice, the green building evaluation criteria used in the construction industry has profound influence and indeed benefits all users. China also developed the national evaluation standard for green building, and employed various standards which actively promote green building development in China. The national green building standard has its universality but due to China’s vast territory it is lack of specificity, hence various provinces and cities have introduced their own evaluation standard to adapt local conditions in order to promote the development of sustainable building around China. Shandong province, as one of the provinces, with rapid developing economy has huge amount of construction, including natural conditions in overall Shandong province have great differences, so the development of the provincial condition evaluation standard for green building consider to be significant. This dissertation based on the investigation and analysis of energy and natural resource of Shandong, in view of practical, combined with the Green Building Evaluation Criteria GB/T50378-2006related requirements. Through investigation, document collection and actual test method, Green Building Evaluation Standard for Shandong was developed. The standard included7aspects which are economical use of land, energy saving, water efficiency, material saving, indoor environment, operation management and construction to evaluate a building during its life circle. Simultaneously, analytical instructions and suggested improvements were given specified to respective items to intensify practical use.Different regions were divided and different proposals for implementing measures were given out to adapt local features In the formulation of the standard in Shandong specified energy situation, plant status of vegetation. In the spirit of encouraging development of area of Shandong green building principles, considered currently Shandong has few Green Star buildings, green building assessment working lag, standard items set take measure, the general percentage of appropriate adjustment, expand the proportion of options available in the standard project, enhance the feasibility of standard. Finally, from the practical point of view, this article selected the social evaluation of a residential building and a public building, through the investigation of two examples, with the new standard for the two.building for evaluation, verification" evaluation standard for green building of Shandong" feasibility and existence problems. The ultimate purpose is to regulate the green building evaluation in Shandong and encourage the development of green building, promoting technology innovation, so as to improve the construction quality of the environment, meet the user’s requirements better.Through the research of this paper, the author hopes to deliver a suitable green building evaluation standard for Shandong and a reference for relative people who work in this field as well. Furthermore, it improves motivation of construct green building whilst encourage development of green building, aiming at relieve pressure of energy use in building and promote sustainable building development, thus, making building serve users better.
