Research On Static Facilities Layout In Manufacturing Workshop Based On Improved SLP

In the current society, the global economy develop rapidly, market demandincreasingly diversified and personalized. The market is vibrant and facing morechallenges and pressure at the same time. Improve the rationality of the workshop’slayout is much helpful to corporation’s core-competitiveness. However, to design thelayout of a workshop is an optimization problem with multi objectives and multiconstraints, only rely on the existing layout method is difficult to meet the demands ofEngineering practice. This thesis gather SLP, heuristic methods, aims at the keyproblems of the facility layout. To design the facility layout scientifically,systematically.Based on this, the main contents of the thesis are as below:First of all, expound the research background, analysis the similar subject ofresearch at home and abroad. And put forward the purpose and significance of theresearch of this subject and to make clear of this thesis on this basis;Secondly, the key problem of the static facility layout of the workshop. Analysisthe causes of workshop layout problem, research the types of the workshop facilitylayout, and analysis the relationship between different layout types, then find out thekey problems of the static workshop layout.Thirdly, the improved SLP is proposed and is used to model static facility modelswhich are calculated by the improved PSO algorithm. First of all, usual methods ofstatic facility layout are analyzed about methods of advantages and disadvantages. Andthen, the improved SLP is proposed. After that usual requirements and methods ofmodeling and a static facility model of workshop is proposed. Finally an improved PSOalgorithm is created based on introducing basic PSO algorithm to calculate the staticfacility model.Finally, the improved SLP is applied to solve practical case. First of all, the basicinformation about the workshop of A company is introduced. And then the improvedSLP is used to address the problem of facility layout of the workshop according tocharacteristics of this workshop to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the improvedSLP method.
