At present, the water supply safety problems of Nanchang mainly concentrate onsupply water output safety in the urban, water pollution, environmental problems andbearing capacity of urban water supply pipe network,etc. Along with the developmentof urbanization, these problems have been varying degrees of strengthening, it isnecessary to find out the main influencing factors, and put forward the solution tosolve the problem of water supply security in the process of Nanchang urbanization.By forecasting the urban water demand of Nanchang at2015year,2020year and2015year, and using rainfall, evaporation, runoff data of Nanchang from1956year to2012year, calculate water supply output of Nanchang city at different assurance ratein predicting annual years, and then through analysising the water resources supplyand demand balance prediction of Nanchang city in predicting annual years, revealthe hidden trouble of Nanchang water supply security for urbanization in the future,and put forward some suggestions. In addition, on the basis of urban water supplydata of Nanchang city in2004-2012, by changing urbanization related indicators ofthe predicted years, establish urban pipe network carrying capacity evaluation modelbasing on hierarchy-principal component analysis.On the basis of the evaluationresults, puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions to improve the watersupply pipe network bearing capacity of Nanchang city. The main researchconclusions are as follows:(1) With the social economy development of Nanchang city, in2020,if the yearis medium drought year, Nanchang will appear small water shortage; in2025, if theyear is medium drought year, Nanchang will be more large-scale water shortage.(2) With the development of Nanchang urbanization and industrialization, urbanwater demand of Nanchang will rapidly increase in the future, among them,thefastest-growing is industrial water requirement, accounting for more than80%to90%of the total growth.To solve urban water supply security issues of Nanchang in thefuture,it is mainly to do a good job in urban water saving and the using of rain andpollution water,especially industrial water saving. (3) In recent years, the sewage into river shows a increase trend in Nanchang city.Along with industrial water and domestic water continuing increasing, the problemwill become even more serious; predicts the emissions of sewage and wastewater intoriver will reach1.285billion ton in2025;To do a good job of urban water pollutioncontrolling, sewage treatment, protecting the urban water resources is anotherimportant measure to ensure the safety of urban water supply.(4) The result of the evaluation model on water supply pipe network carryingcapacity shows that the water supply pipe network carrying capacity comprehensiveindex of Nanchang city is-0.0632, which is at a low level; In short and middle term,if want to be a high bearing capacity in the future, the only method is saving urbanusing water, reducing pipe network leakage actively, and intensify building city pipenetwork and transforming the old pipe network.
