Bio-energy industry has been actively delelopping in recently ten years in our country. As one ofthe most important parts, straw-based power genenration has also made great achievements. For thereason of undeveloped technology and low production efficiency, its demand for straw is high.Howerver, the storage capacity of power plants is limited. In order to ensure the supply of biomass, plants always set up collection stations to collect and storage biomass around them. A certain amountof biomass is transported to plants according to production requirements daily. So, it’s important tofinish the transportation task timely. Currently, domestic biomass power plants always deal with thiskind of problems according to experience. They do not have a systematic and scientific developmentplan to make transportation decisions. Biomass power plants abroad, can take the advantages oflarge-scale agricultural production to make high-efficient supply. Reaseaches about them cannotbe completely applied to the operation of domestic biomass power plants. This paper will make areasonable planning and optimizaotion for the biomass transportation system according to the actualsituation in our country.First of all, this paper analysises the existing logistics transpotrtation modes (self-running andoutsourcing transportation) and proposes a new method to combine the two kind of logistics modesaccording to the situation of much different volume of transportation in peak-seasons and off-seasons.By compare their cost net present value, this paper chose the one whose value is least as the bestlogistics transportation mode.Secondly, in view of the variety of traffic network between biomass-collection-stations and theplant, this paper builds a multi-objective model to get the optimal route, considering both the impactof transportation cost and time on route selection. Then, this paper establish a Extendsim model to simulate the logistics transportation system andmake the best scheduling of the processing equipmnts and vechicels to minimize the variable logisticstransportation cost under given transportation mode. Finally, the paper take a biomass power plant of2*12MW as an example to make an empiricalresearch. Using the method of net present value analysis, it turns out to be that it’s best to build itsown transport fleet in off-seasons and part of the task in peak-seasons as well as outsoucing the rest.Under the mode, the Extendsim simulation model can respectively decrease the varaibale cost ofpeak-seasons and off-seasons by7.22%and2.32%.
