As an essential part of traffic, bridge can also be pivotal to the transportation industry.And in recent years, China’s bridge construction has made a world-beating progress. While,as the development of the transit services and an extended life expectancy of existing bridge,defect of bridge that come with get more serious. Most of them even in danger, which makebridge management conservation becoming increasingly important.This paper has chiefly introduced the development and research progress of BridgeManagement Systems and Bridge Management System Architecture home and abroad.Integrate AHP with expert consultation to build the model of bridge impairment evaluation, toevaluate the technical condition of bridge defects. Combine fuzzy comprehensive evaluationwith approximation to build the model of bridge carrying capacity assessment, to evaluate thetechnical condition of its carrying capacity. Using the ratio of the width of the bridge tocarriageway road to build bridges suitability evaluation model, and to evaluate the suitability.Meanwhile, linear weight the bridge defect case, the carrying capacity of the bridge and theevaluation of bridge situation adaptively. Establish GM (1,1) model by using gray system tocalculate the technical condition of bridges. Using genetic algorithms along with linearweighting method to build bridge maintenance cost analysis model, and apply the optimizedprinciple to allocate and utilize the limited maintenance funds. Establish the decision treemodel, correspondingly bridge maintenance measures, bridge maintenance system’soptimization and its sort measures. Propose correspondingly maintenance measures accordingto the evaluation data of technical condition of the bridge. Compose software of bridgemanagement system can not only make message’s storage and read more convenient, but alsohelp facilitate the bridge maintenance.
