At present, the world is facing a shortage of energy, pollution and many otherenvironmental issues, transportation as an energy guzzler, especially its environmentalproblems. With the rapid development of the national economy, a sharp increase in trafficdemand and thus energy demand and emissions of pollutants caused also rising.Transportation energy consumption and pollutant emissions and energy consumptionaccounted for the entire community a larger proportion of pollutant emissions, and showed anincreasing trend, the establishment of a low-carbon transportation system is very important. In this paper, Beijing transportation, for example, focuses on the energy needs of theroad transport industry and pollutant emissions. First, the road transport sector intocommunity transport, urban public transport, the other passenger, road freight four sub-sectors; secondly, to2011as the base year, with reference to2005-2010data, the grayprediction model2020Beijing traffic demand road transport industry; Finally, LEAP modelfor the future energy needs of the road transport industry in Beijing and pollutant emissionsscenario simulation. Model set the baseline scenario and the best scenario, the baselinescenario as a reference scenario, assuming that the government has not taken any measures tocurb the increase in the energy saving sector energy demand and road transport emissions, thebest scenario as the optimistic scenario, the study of the government to take the developmentof public transport, the promotion of energy saving vehicles, changes in the road transportindustry to improve energy demand and emissions of the fuel economy and other energysaving measures. The results show that in2020reached22.86%saving the best scenario thanthe baseline scenario, CO2, NOXemissions were reduced by11.85%,8.66%.
