Micro stepping gear motor is the combination of reduction gear box and the steppermotor. Compared with the stepper motor, it has the characteristics of lower speed, largertorque, and is widely used in the field of industrial automation.Be applied to test the characteristic of the motor on the factory examination, Theexisting integration testing equipment has some disadvantages, like time-consuming, lowefficiency, big workload. Rotation speed and torque are the two basic performance index ofMicro stepping gear motor. Quickly filter out the defective motor, by testing the Rotationspeed and torque of Micro stepping gear motor, can increase test efficiency clearly andreduce the unnecessary workload greatly.Based on a company’s practical needs of the Micro stepping gear motor factoryexamination, a on-line quality inspection system about Micro stepping gear motor has beenresearched and designed, it has many advantages, like high degree of automation、wideapplication rage. The system meets the requirements of practical application, and has certainapplication value, fill in the current rapid inspection of blank in this field.Firstly, in this article, the structure and properties of Micro stepping gear motor wasanalyzed. And after the study of existing digital method for measuring the rotational speedbased on the combination of motor speed/torque characteristics, the speed/torque settingmethod have putted forward. Based on this method, a fast quality detecting system on theproducing line has been studied and designed, the work of which mainly including themechanical and control systems:The work of mechanical parts is the clamping structure design for the motor, encodedsensor and load. To increase the reliability and stability of the fast quality detecting system,the structure’s intensity-checking and the simulation analysis using ANSYS softwarecompleted. The results of simulation shows that the theoretical checking is correct andeffective and structure can satisfy the requirement of actual use. The measurement and control system is divided into hardware and software.STM32F407is chose as the MCU in the system. The design of drive controller, the controland drive circuit of motor, TFT display module and man-machine interface completed. Andthe circuits of each parts have been elaborated in this paper.Since then, the PCB board ofsystem has been designed, actually made and optimized.Secondly, the software of the test system has been designed according to thespeed/torque setting method, using the Keil MDK. Through the function of start, stop,forward acceleration/deceleration, reverse acceleration/deceleration, the quality detectingsystem can automatically measure the motor’s rotational state under load conditions.At last,The experimental evidence shows that the Micro stepping gear motor’s testingsystem on the production line can effectively test the motor and improve the efficiency ofthe motor factory inspection.
