As the pace of urbanization accelerates and the substantial increase in wirelesscommunication technology, centralized meter reading is gradually replacing thetraditional manual meter reading. Intelligence is the flagship sign of the newresidential district, a lot of work has done on the intelligent meter reading. The latestcentralized meter reading system is introduced constantly. From wired to wireless, concentrated reading is updated gradually. This article describes the hardware structure and specific work process of theexisting wireless meter reading system in detail. It analyzes some of its problems andbased on this it has made great improvements. The concentrator is redesigned: TheARM chip STM32F103ZET6is the main chip. It combines GPRS communicationstechnology and wireless Mesh ad hoc network, using the FLASH storage peripherals. The lower position machine terminal meter reading process is accomplished bywireless ad hoc network module (concentrator section) and the data is passed to themaster chip. After processing, it passes to the host computer via a GPRS module.Specific hardware circuit is designed modularly, including micro-controller circuit, clock circuits, memory circuits, communications interface circuits, human-computerinteraction circuit and power circuit design. The ARM applications based on embedded uCOS system reflects its absoluteadvantage. The article also analyzes the structure, working principle, transplantprocedure on STM32, specific division of tasks and design of uCOS-Ⅱ system indetail. Position machine uses LabVIEW as configuration interface. The picture is clear, beautiful and functional. It describes the design of LabVIEW management center, including the TCP/IP communications implementation and database storage access. The users’power data storage and query, adding or deleting users, electrical parametersettings and other functions have achieved.
