As social productivity continued to rise, the urbanization process is beingaccelerated in China, as well as people have more and more demand for comfort forthe sake of living environment. This phenomenon leads to gradually expand the scaleof heating and great heating load. In this Background, we put forward higherrequirements for scalability of the existing capacity of the heating system inevitably.Current research is mostly limited to heat net transformation.We find a blind area inexpansion planning and design of heating network. This article will research theheating network from the perspective of planning and analysis thermal network fromthe perspective of expansion program.This paper has established scalability mathematical model technicallyandeconomically for heating projects, the paper also evaluates how the initialinvestment, extended cost and operating costs of the system before and after theexpansion influence system economical fee. The paper evaluates the economicbenefits of the system from payback period fee and the pipe networklife cycle costrespectively on an annual basis. The paper has fully considered the time value ofmoney, the proportion of system expansion time in evaluation period time, evaluateangles and other factors. Factors changing, the technology and economy of systemexpansion also will be different. So it need to analyzethem comprehensively toprovide a reference value for the heating project expansion.Based on the actual engineering situation,the article puts forword and brieflyexpoundes the existing network expansion strategy,also detail analysis the economyabout setting up the relay pump station and increasing the heat-supply watertemperature.The paper has analyzed different heat source distance of the existing heatingnetwork forms, such as branched network, cyclic pipeline network and unidirectionalring network. The research includes comparisons of investment in theconstruction,expansion, pump energy consumption, net heat loss and depreciationmaintenance fees. When heating area extends at different locations, the expansioneconomical efficiency of the same scheme of the system is not same yet.Take Taonan city heating planning projects for example, the paper has analyzedoperating conditions of original project,the extension heating engineeringof phaseⅠ andⅡ. What’s more, the paper has calculated operation energy from the perspectiveof investment and recycling to provide guidance for the development ofthermoelectric corporate profits. The paper also calculates annual cost of differentnetwork life cycle(15years、20years、25years) to provide reference for the sustainabledevelopment of the heating design.
