With productivity increasing and advances in technology, society is rapidly developing. The demand of human for energy and electrical energy quality is growing. The problems of transient stability are brought in due to growing of transmission power and transmission voltage levels. The probability of an accident in power system will be increased. How fast and accurate positioning system failures is the foundation of power grid development and social stability.In actually, some domestic power grids have attempted to achieve fault recorder networking system, but most fault recorder of different manufacturers can achieve network independently, only connect their devices, a variety of models can’t achieve a unified networking fault recorder and unified analysis. Firstly, this paper researches wave recording device networking system, and then analyzes the characteristics and structure of the basic wave recording networking system. Lastly, combining with the status of Hegang regional power grid, a more perfect wave recording device networking system WEB real-time and fault information release system is designed. The system realizes the remote retrieval pretreatment, distance measuring equipment line fault data. Fault data can be managed via the background analysis platform. In practice of Hegang regional power grid, the proposed fault recorder networking systems have been proved that the functions of fault recorder can achieve more efficiently and timely. Also it can quickly find the point of failure, and accurately provide strong power system fault exclusion basis In practical application, the system can promptly detect the abnormal state of the grid system, and be able to publish information in real time via a browser. It can provide accurate data to electricity workers in order to quickly repair faulty system and restore normal work of transmission and distribution.
