Mountain national and provincial highway, as local economic development critical infrastructure in thehighway network, is playing an increasingly important role. At the same time, the use of performance mountain road asphalt pavement is declining, so it’s conservation problems are more general concern to road builders. Facing the fact that gradually expanding scale of Guizhou mountain, if we want to maintain a good road performance, reduce the incidence of road early disease, delay further development of the disease to prolong road life and reduce maintenance costs, we should select techniques consistent with its characteristics be preventive maintenance according to performance mountain road asphalt pavement. Given the current pre-curing ways, such as hot in-place recycling, micro-surfacing, slurry seal, fog seal, chip seal, choosing a way to adapt maining highway in Guizhou Mountain becomes a conservation issue. Based on this, this paper presents national and provincial trunk highway mountain evaluation and technical and economic studies in situ regeneration and thin overlay of heat.This paper discusses the early typical disease and the development of mechanism in Guizhou mountainou national and provincial trunk highways.Through the method of technical and economic evaluation,we can choose an appropriate conservation method from the local heat regeneration and thin overlay in a mountainous trunk road maintenance.Then make a systematic theoretical analysis of the trunk on mountain technical and economic evaluation of road maintenance methods.Point out the suitability,economic and social adaptability three ways to conserve mountain roads in the technical and economic evaluation.This thesis focuses ontechnology evaluation and assessment of economic adaptability, and how to build technical suitability evaluation model and evaluation system particularly, and then apply the annual cost analysis in economic adaptability of conservation methods, socialevaluation uses qualitative analysis and description. Finally, relying on the use of2013, respectively, and a thin layer of thermal regeneration in situ conservation overlay technology Guizhou two trunk roads examples we demonstrate the technical and economic analysis.Study shows that geothermal renewable and thin overlay of asphalt pavement maintenance as a quick fix technique, can improve the original gradation and asphalt pavement road performance, also achieve conservation requirements extending its life.Technically, asphalt pavement after conserving by geothermal renewable technologies performs greater superiority than asphalt pavement after conserving by thin overlay technologies on the comprehensive road perfomance; economically, geothermal renewable technologies can make full use of old asphalt mixture, it’s more economical compared to the thin overlay technologies, and with the equivalent annual cost method, we can see that situ thermal regeneration spend less, and bring high economic efficiency; on social benefits, compared to thin overlay technique, we don’t need to consider transportation and handling of old asphalt waste discarded scrap heap problems by using situ thermal regeneration technology, but it will emit more air pollutants.
