In the port of the jinsha river is the upper reaches of the river, the jinsha river is a main river in southwest in China, in order to ensure the jinsha river waterway and port in the smooth and safe production, studies the problems of the navigation is very necessary. This paper aims to pier site selection, general layout, structure design, form a complete set of engineering, port construction, port operations involved the study of navigation problem, put forward the possibility of pier construction and protection and measures to improve navigation.The main conclusions of this study is:①The port navigation conditions are complicated, though a lot of adverse external factors, but the port in accordance with "overall planning" Shuifu port, in adopting the floating bollard, set the stop position mark, establish forecast and information transfer mechanism and other measures, guarantee the safe operation of the pier, the construction of basic feasible.②The wharf harbor waters, waters, berth length cyclotron meet "port engineering master design code"(JTJ212-2006) requirements, but the large area excavation level caused by falling.
