| Settlement indicator is an important indicator to examine the quality of highway foundation reinforcement and roadbed filling, implementation of the settlement observation is the most visualized and accurate method to obtain the settlement of highway. In the expressway expansion project, the success depends on the splicing quality of the old-new subgrade, pavement and bridges, in order to ensure the widened pavement meet the function of road, avoid roadbed collapse, pavement cracking, it is necessary to observe the settlement deformation of old-new subgrade, pavement and bridge during construction and operation of the widened roadbed and bridge.This paper designed a special settlement observation program for the Beijing-Shijiazhuang expressway reconstruction project. Applied new type of settlement observation components, and designed operation and data processing method for them. Study on the proper value of settlement indicators of the reconstruction project and determined the indicators used in this project such as the total settlement, post-construction settlement, differential settlement and settlement rate during construction. Settlement observation scheme has been implemented in engineering.A program for settlement observation adjustment has been programmed using Visual Basic programing language for the convenience of data processing, and to standardize data processing methods and data output formats. The software is designed specifically for the reconstruction project and applicable to data adjustment of test methods in the settlement scheme.This study designs subgrade and pavement evaluation method and procedure for the reconstruction project. Settlement evaluation system has been built to provide a method to forecast the post-construction settlement and transverse slope rate, unified the output format of the charts and datasheets, offer a quick handle large settlement data and get all the necessary indicators approach. |
