The machine which can sustainably transport materials in a certain space is called conveyor. The most common conveyors are belt conveyor and vibrating conveyor. The conveyor is widely used. It has many advantages. It can transport different kinds of objects. It has a flexible line and a long distance for transportation. Especially in the production line of the tobacco factory, although the conveyor is an auxiliary equipment, the number of the conveyor is large. It is an important factor that can not be neglected. Once the transmission parts have problems, the conveyor can not work normally. It may lead to the shutdown of the whole line. The result and influence will be very serious. Among the conveyors, the link-type vibrating conveyor has a simple structure and a strong ability for transportation. It is also easy to maintain and can adapt to large production capacity. So it become the focus of research.This thesis is about the number of rubber hinged guide rod of the link-type vibrating conveyor. It will analyze and discuss the topic in two aspects.1:The influence of the inherent characteristics of the vibration slots which is led to distributed density of guide rod was studied. For avoiding the harm which comes from vibration slots’ bending vibration. The number of guide rod was got.2:A reasonable number of guide rod was determined basing on the operating points of the link-type vibrating conveyor. This will make the link-type vibrating conveyor work stablely. At last, choose the maximum of two results. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, modal analysis under different constraints for the same length of vibration slots were done. The influence of the inherent characteristics of the vibration slots which is led to distributed density of guide rod was obtained. For avoiding the harm which comes from vibration slots’ bending vibration, The number of guide rod was obtained due to the distribution of the guide rod.Secondly, the rubber hinge’s dimensional finite element model was established and an analysis of the quasi-static rotation characteristics were also carried out. The curves of experimental stiffness and rotational stiffness are consistent in some extent. By looking at stress map, the Rubber hinged guide rods work safely within the maximum swing angle range were observe. Then making a further analysis of the impact which comes from rubber rod diameter to rubber hinge stiffness and strength.And obtaining a reasonable diameter value of rubber rod.Thirdly, basing on the analysis of the topology configuration of the entire conveyor system, a virtual prototype of the conveyor’s vibrating system was established. By applying an initial velocity to balance the body, To derive the equivalent stiffness of the guide bar in vibrating direction.Lastly, the stiffness of rubber spring was calculated. The mechanical vibration system equations was established and its natural frequency was observe. By making use of the inferior resonance(frequency ratio is0.75-0.85) of the link-type vibrating conveyor, to determine and select the rational number of guide rod.
