Design And Realization Of EPON NMS In Power Distribution And Utilization Based On Berkeley DB

This article firstly analyzes the characteristics of power distribution and utilization system, and the storage requirements for EPON network management system. Secondly, the mainstream storage as well as mainstream embedded database is discussed in details. And then we described the structure of the database system, instruction and precautions of the Berkeley DB. Moreover, we expounded the basic content of element management based on the entire system framework of the EPON, and designed the software framework EPON network management system using BDB database as storage solution. Later, we proposed a model of database according to the object properties of EPON network element management. Finally, a development and testing platform is build, which illustrates the critical link of coding. The performance test is conducted according to simulating the actual operating environment. The test results show the feasibility of the proposed solution under the environment of power distribution and utilization application.
