The expanded pearlite and ceramic are two kinds of excellent thermal insulation materials, which have the characteristics of lightweight, heat insulation, durability and low cost. Especially that the components of the two kinds of materials are inorganic, so they have extraordinary fire resistance comparing to traditional polystyrene foam board insulation material. Under the background of increasingly serious energy problem, the two materials are getting more and more popular, and are becoming to be important materials in thermal engineering. Among them, thermal-insulating sheets made of lightweight aggregate concrete with pearlite and ceramic are the most commonly used.In this paper, energy-saving and thermal-insulating concrete slabs mainly made of expanded pearlite particles and ceramic particles, in those ordinary sand is replaced by shale sand, are researched. Explore the best mix with excellent performance and its making process, and find the technological parameters at the same time, to meet the requirements as building enclosure structure. The main research contents are as follows:(1) The heat conduction theory and the strength theory of energy-saving and thermal-insulating concrete are investigated. Determine the research method of using thermal conductivity as the main control objective to evaluate concrete heat insulation effect. Comparing to ordinary concrete, the energy-saving and thermal-insulating concrete strength formation mechanism is expounded.(2) The expanded pearlite particles are difficult to be widely used due to the high water absorption rate. For this problem, the hydrophobic expanded pearlite particles are used in the experiment as the material. So that the water absorption rate of pearlite concrete is greatly reduced, and the foundation for the further application of the expanded pearlite concrete is laid.(3) Detail production process of energy-saving and thermal-insulating concrete. Analyze the issues that need to pay attention to the production process. Make the functions as building insulation components to maximize.(4) Using two groups of orthogonal experimental and taking the influence of the amount of cement, net water dosage, shale sand ratio and light aggregate total volume into consideration, get the parameter data of dry apparent density, compressive strength of28d and thermal conductivity. Compare and analyze the data to find out which of these factors play the most significant role in the influence on these parameters. Select expanded perlite concrete for the manufacture of external wall plate scheme, and ceramsite concrete for roof panel board scheme finally.(5) Overcome the contradiction of "the smaller the density of material is, the better the thermal insulation effect is, but the lower the strength is" as thoroughly as possible, and find out the best mix taking each other into consideration, to make various efficacy levels of energy-saving and thermal-insulating concrete tend to balance, and then determine the results of the parameters in the best mix.
