According to the overall development goal of China’s smart grid construction,developing the intelligent power distribution equipment meets the requirements ofdistribution automation system can promote the construction of the smart grid.Based on the study of the distribution equipment at home and abroad, a newmulti-functional intelligent power distribution is developed, which makes use of dualARM CPU as control core, and a dedicated energy metering chip ATT7022as dataacquisition core. In order to facilitate the equipment’s maintenance and extension,modular design is adopted on the scheme design, with LPC1788management CPU boardas the core unit, transformer condition monitoring board as auxiliary control unit, andpower board, line communication of user acquisition board, intelligent reactivecompensation control board, communication interface and remote control board and PCcommunication board as expansion unit, and the structure and function of each module isexpounded in detail.In the hardware circuit design, the circuit design of power board, CPU managementboard, transformer condition monitoring board, intelligent reactive compensation controlboard and communication interface and remote control module are finished, while thepower management circuitry, the memory circuit based on EMC bus and data acquisitioncircuitry based on ATT7022E are focused on. In the software design, the software designof SPI interface between the master and slave, and the hardware interface program ofATT7022E and EMC bus, and the software design of data acquisition module, taskmanagement interface, ATT7022E software calibration and reactive power compensationcontrol module are finished, and the design of a calculation method based on ATT7022Efor harmonic and inter-harmonics data is emphatically researched and designed, whichcan analyze2~21times harmonic data. What’s more, an online upgrade method basedon IAP function is designed.Experimental measurements confirm that the new intelligent distribution terminalsmeets the design requirements and achieves the desired effect.
