City distribution network is an important part of the power system,a bridge betweenthe eleetrieal supply and the load.As an important base of the city modemizeconstruction,it is an important part in the long-term development of the planning forelectricity enterprises themselves, but also national the economic and social developmentimportant constituent. The planning of the electric distribution network play a importantrole to settle the confliet between the supply and requirement and to improve thereliability of power supply. The current situation of Rongcheng power grid has been analyzed in thepaper.Discussing the situation of power grid for zone profiles and the base situation ofpower consumption.Through analys the status of the35kV and10kV grid,we find out themain problems of the network.A variety of load forecasting algorithm are used to forecast the loadincreasing.Combine the result of forecast with the main prblems in distributionnetwork,we make a plan of the construction of converting station, including the capacityand the location.According to the power demand of the tourism and commercial. In order to ensure thesafety and reliability of the deliver to the load center.Puting forward two feasible plan which isthe overhead lines and cable.Determine the conveying path, wire type, growth of load andinvestment estimate. Analysis of the two kinds of schemes from a different angle. At the sametime, study the advantages and disadvantages when using the distribution network of20kV in thearea. The results show that the plan can meet the electricity requirements of Rongcheng in the nextfew years.Change the status of single power supply in Rongcheng. It improve the quality of powersupply.
