Digital Energy is an important support for economic development. Accompanywith the quick development of economy, environmental protection and payingattention to long-term economic growth is the basic meaning of scientificdevelopment. Every country has laid more and more emphasis on green energywhich is safety, clean and quality. Wind energy that called green and clean energy isincreasingly concerned. With the development of wind energy technology, the usingof wind energy effectively not only can reduce environmental pollution significantly,but also can alleviate the energy shortage effectively.Western Inner Mongolia is rich in wind resources, but the construction of windfarm starts relatively late. Huitengxile wind farm which is constructed firstly wasapproved for construction in2001. Wind resource assessment software, weatherconditions and geographical environment of region has a close relationship.According to the construction of large-scale wind farms of the West Inner Mongoliastated late and the reality that the wind resources important pre-assessmentevaluation software technology to this region’s actual terrain and standards waslaggard, the assessment of results that copying the internationally acceptedevaluation software cannot fully reflect the distribution of wind resources of thestudy area, which will cause distress of wind farm’s the construction site selectionand planning, and impact on the effect of wind resource utilization and future runeconomic benefits directly. The author conducted a study for the wind resourceassessment. The paper introduces the theory of the statistical characteristics of windenergy, the basic concept of the wind resource assessment and wind speeddistribution model. It based on the actual wind measurement data of the wind farm,and then analyzes the measurement site selection and measurement parameters ofthe wind resource. Vectorized topographic maps of the study area use the geospatialfactor multiple regression method to simulate wind resource, and the interpolationmethod masts residuals into the residual revised, amended wind speed maps of thestudy area, in order to lay the foundation for the post-construction site, and alsoprovide a reference for the smooth realization of future research methods. Compared with the WAsP wind resource analysis software that researched and developed ofDanish, the main conclusions in this paper have been summarized as follows:(1) The calculated results of annual average wind speed range and location inthis paper are basically same as the conclusion drew by the wind resourceassessment software WASP which is widely used in China.(2) The relative deviation between this paper’s method and WASP is0.06; thispaper reduces the residual, which can basically reflect the actual situation near thewind measurement tower, and the measurement can be higher.(3) The method of paper can provide guidance and reference to special terrainenvironment geography, surveying and evaluation work.
