Substations and transmission lines are the effective carrier of power distribution,transmission and scheduling, whose quality directly affects the security, economyand stability of the whole power system. Power transmission and transformationprojects have the characteristics of special construction technology, complexoperations and many participants, leading to its frequent occurrence of qualityproblems, which restricted its further development severely. Therefore, it’s necessaryto strengthen the quality management of power transmission and transformationprojects, of which the effective comprehensive evaluation of quality management isan important prerequisite to improve the quality of power transmission andtransformation projects. Constructing the quality management evaluation of powertransmission and transformation projects can analyze the situation of qualitymanagement scientifically and reasonably, find questions in quality managementtimely, and take effective measures accordingly, as a result of improving the qualitymanagement level of power transmission and transformation projects. At the sametime, it can achieve the effective control of quality problems in power transmissionand transformation projects, and provide theoretical support for quality managementof similar projects.Firstly, this paper analyzes studies of the quality management of powertransmission and transportation projects in domestic and foreign systematically, anddescribes the methods of project quality management, on the basis of which thefactors affecting the power transmission and transportation project quality areanalyzed and the quality management evaluation index system is constructed.Secondly, combined the constructed index system and the reality of powertransmission and transportation projects, a comprehensive quality managementevaluation model of power transmission and transportation projects is establishedbased on the AHP and fuzzy mathematics theory. Thirdly, the constructed indexsystem and evaluation model are applied to the110kV new power transmission andtransportation project of Songlin Shop, validating the applicability, feasibility andrationality of the constructed model. At the same time, the evaluation results revealthe problems and weak links presented in the project quality management, for whichimproved measures are made according to the serious degree of problems. Finally, thedirection of similar power transmission and transportation projects and the futureprospect are identified.
