Green Traffic Planning Theory And Practice Research On New Towns

With the rapid development of the national economy and the acceleration ofurbanization, China’s vehicle ownership and road traffic increase dramatically, alongwith the increasingly serious environmental problems caused. While green urbantransport system as part of a complex system, plays a key role in ecological cityconstruction. And the modern city’s development is inseparable from the unified andefficient transportation system, urban transport systems in large also restrict orpromote the formation and transformation of the pattern of cities, and play a hugeinfluence on urban morphology, ecology and socio-economic development model. Italso becomes more and more important part of social concern to building "eco-townand green transportation" as important part of a harmonious society. On the one hand,Green traffic includes the internal transport system optimization problems; on theother hand Green traffic also includes the external system coordination and symbiosisproblems on the transport system. So, green transport and eco-city construction areinseparable, this paper further explored it combining the two aspects asTianjin-Xiqing New Town an example.Firstly, this paper discusses the background, summarizes the research status,proposes thesis research objectives, and builds eco-city Tianjin-Xiqing New Towngreen traffic planning model as a theory to ecological green transport, in accordancewith the route--"theoretical framework-factors and methods of analysis-city casestudy-conclusion and analysis"; its core content proposed a variety of greentransportation collaborative planning measures on "regional transportation systemplanning, rail transportation system planning, rapid transit system planning and slowtraffic system planning",with analyzing the influencing factors on the New Towngreen transportation planning and traffic supply and demand balance analysis andresearching demand forecasting model on transport of higher-level planning.Urban transport is a very complex huge system, with a strong foundation andsociality, green transportation is a systematic project involving every aspect oftransportation and related elements,so green transportation planning lies in theimplementation of policies and regulations, transportation planning,technicalstandards, business rules and a unified and coordination management system.
