Preliminary Studying On The Characteristics Of Climatic Adaptability Of Valley Traditional Settlement Environment Space Form

Natural factors are unavoidable in current we design a background. In differentparts of the traditional settlement houses are a sign of deeply branded with the localnatural factors, compared with the culture, history and customs, etc, in shaping theregional architectural culture, natural factors play a more important role. In thegeography climate characteristic in the natural factors are the fundamental factors thataffect construction. Chinese traditional settlement not only USES the existingtopography and create more suitable for living environment and each has its owncharacteristics of settlement environment space, also embodies the respect for thenatural environment and rational utilization. This article attempts from the perspectiveof settlement of the terrain, discussed under the specific topography, adapt to the climatecharacteristics of traditional settlements environment space form.This article, from the first climate related concepts and theory, introduces theinfluence of climate on architecture design factors, combed the domestic and foreignclimate zoning method, and discusses the influence of settlement environment spacethree climatic hierarchy characteristics, the focus is on micro level in the form ofsettlement environment space characteristics. Through building climate regulationprinciple for climate regulation principle of settlement environment, and will be adoptedthe method of architecture climate design groups, and introduces the settlement climateanalysis method used in this article. Finallysummarizes the different climate zones settlements environment space form thecombination of adaptation to climate regulation mode.
