Hydraulic multi-way valve is one kind of frequently-used hydraulic direction control valve of construction machinery. Construction machinery is generally working in adverse environment with severely fluctuant load and frequently reversing. Troubleshooting of multi-way valve happens frequently during the operation of construction machinery. Construction machinery maintenance market is gradually expanded, but the maintenance method of multi-way valve, which is complicated and expansive, is still the traditional method. And the maintenance enterprises do not have enough professional maintenance persons and the maintenance persons are lack for professional knowledge about the valve. Traditional maintenance training needs a lot of input in model machinery and training personal, which is prohibitive for lots of maintenance enterprises.According to the problem that the maintenance enterprises are facing and the problem lie in the maintenance training, this paper develop the multi-way valve virtual maintenance simulation system based on Flash. With the multi-way valve as the research object, the system researches and analyses the structure, function, principle and troubleshooting of the multi-way valve. And lastly it is applied to the multi-way valve of KOMATSU PC200-8EO excavator.The third chapter analyses the main structure and function of the multi-way valve, in order to strengthen understanding of the valve. It is helpful to understand the fault mechanism of multi-way valve by understand the function and principles. This chapter is the theoretical basis of the multi-way valve maintenance support system, which is developed in this subject.The fourth chapter deeply analyses the troubleshooting of multi-way valve and executive device, and studies the executive device fault mechanism comprehensively. From the direction of executive device, chapter four focuses on the troubleshooting about multi-way valve, and establishes the fault-tree of it. According the fault diagnosis method based on fault-tree analysis method, makes qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis on the fault-tree.The fifth chapter developed the multi-way valve maintenance support system based on Flash and SolidWorks according to the virtual maintenance simulation theory. The system consists of several module such as assemble and disassemble direction module, manual assemble and disassemble direction module, function and principle module, and fault diagnosis module. This model was drawn by SolidWorks and the animation was drawn by Flash, the ActionScript 3.0 achieve the human-computer interaction. Troubleshooting data is stored in the XML documents, Flash can read the data from it.In the end of the paper, the system is applied to the multi-way valve of KOMATSU PC200-8EO excavator. It can do the virtual maintenance simulation which could show the structure and function of multi-way valve and diagnose the troubleshooting of the valve and propose treatment suggestions.
