Due to various reasons, the project need pass from coal gangue mountain. At recent there is little research in building highway roadbed on the gangue accumulation.The characteristics of coal gangue accumulation is slowly combusted, after formatting the subgrade settlement, its slow combustion will lead to larger settlement, that will directly endanger its structure. After comparison, finally the determine is that the dynamic compaction method is adopted to improve the bearing capacity of subgrade and reduce the subsidence,the grouting method is adopted to eliminate gangue spontaneous combustion.Based on the indoor physical test and chemical composition analysis, mechanical test and other means,there is some analysis of gangue road performance. In summary, in this region, treated coal gangue can be used as roadbed filler.And there is a reasonable plan by the determination of test, it confirmed the extinguishing effect by testing. Through experience and trial ramming test, there are some dynamic compaction parameters, and it confirmed the dynamic compaction reinforcement effect through the test.Finally, using ANSYS software simulated to calculate the final settlement after gangue subgrade and side slope stability, from two aspects of the settlement stability analysis and slope stability analysis of spoil heaps, there is a highway subgrade stability evaluation. Research results applicated in practical engineering have some good results.
