With the improvement of Our residents’living standards and consumptive level in today, people’s educational ideas are changing, and each family pays more attention on children’s growth education, and the cost on children’s education accounts for a large proportion of one family’s expenses. Many parents are willing to choose early childhood learning electronic products to teach children about formative education, and the electronic multimedia technology applied in the product provides convenience for the children’s education. As the electronic products are coming into the child’s life increasingly, they are becoming the important means that young parents choose to educate their children.Now children educational electronic products have just started in our country and the theory about educational electronic products’design and development is not yet perfect.Today products in the market varies greatly, while the products which are really designed from one child’s view and based on what he really needs and his mental and physical characteristics. This paper analyses how to enlighten the children’s intelligence and teach them knowledge and designs products.This paper designs the educational product for preschool children by using cognitive psychology as the important method of studying children, as well as the main theoretical basis of the design of educational products for children, and induces the application of cognitive psychology in interactive design, the links between cognitive psychology and interaction design, and the methods and principles of using interaction design in design.Based on the research idea, this paper firstly studies the background and knowledge related to topic and keeps abreast of current research status at home and abroad, and then analyses the cognitive-behavior and psychological characteristics of children, and acquires children’s cognitive development abilities, and studies children’s educational products in the market and analyses products’types. Based on the related theory of interactive design at home and abroad, this paper analyses children’s educational products and summarizes the point that the machine/system, the user and the interface are key elements to design children’s educational products. Though questionnaire survey and field interview and analysing the present condition and needs of preschool children, the paper finds out the status and needs of preschool children’s educational products, using the related methods and principles of interaction design, and finally designs the product in the use of the preschool children’s education.
