The marshalling station is the important node on railway network with complete equipment. Safety has been serve as the first priority to organize the production operation by the competent departments of railway transportation, but due to the traditional management concept, at present the study is quit little which is related to the security of the disintegration and marshalling system in the marshalling station. Most of the research about human reliability of railway system is concentrated on locomotive crew. In recent years, the railway system improve the reliability of hardware devices through continue updating technology and equipment, but with the constant update of hardware system, the opacity of system is keeping enhanced, so that the reliability of system depends largely on the operation safety of personnel system. Therefore, personnel subsystem becomes the most uncertain factors of the man-machine system, influence the safety of marshalling station operation to a great extent. So, this paper takes the personnel safety of disintegration and marshalling system in the marshalling station as the research object, mainly carried out the following work:(1) To investigate the work situation of frontline operation of marshalling station, analysis its system safety by using the theory of Man-Machine-Environment System;(2) Analysis the system from the angle of subsystems, operation process and the information transmission between the operations;(3) Search the basic events by analysis the accident tree of typical system accident. Then identify the major accident responsibility person;(4) Establish the extended cognitive behavior model of system operators divided the cognitive behavior of operators into several stages and identify the errors in each stage;(5) Identify the PSFs of disintegration and marshalling system operation, then analysis their interactive relationship. Concentrate the organizational factors, situational factors, individual factors and cognitive processing errors to establish the human error cause model;(6) Establish the HRA Bayes network model of human error causes which the situation environment causality has been considered. Identify the main PSFs in the specific situational environment, provides the theory support for the safety control of operating personnel.
