Design Of Wireless Meter Reading System Based On ZigBee Technology

Electric energy meter data is the electricity sector the most direct and the original measurement data of sales of electrical energy, obtain electric energy meter data timeliness and accuracy is directly related to the electricity sector’s operating efficiency and corporate management decisions. With the continuous progress of the development of social economy and science and technology, the degree of information application of power technology continues to improve, the wireless meter reading technology emerge as the times require and has achieved considerable development and progress, which can break through the original electric energy meter reading mode, and to the power supply departments of electric advanced meter reading system can monitor the apparent consumption. The nature of the industry by the electricity sector, power consumption of the system and accuracy of electric energy meter data copying is very strict, but the current run of the Bluetooth technology, GPRS/CDMA technology and Wifi technology based wireless meter reading technology is not very good to meet the high standard requirement. Along with the international community in recent years, the deepening study of ZigBee technology, Zigbee technology is gradually mature, expanding the scope of application of wireless communication technology, has become an important new force. Because of the ZigBee technology in the communication with Bluetooth technology, GPRS and WIFI technologies can not match the high ratio of performance and price, therefore, this paper puts forward a kind of based on Zigbee wireless communication technology as the foundation for network electric energy meter wireless reading system.In this paper, according to the characteristics of Zigbee technology, based on the protocols of Zigbee, use the Zigbee technology in the industry to obtain CC2430 chips generally recognized as the central server and wireless data transceiver, supplemented by related covers equipment, formed on the basis of the Zigbee technology in the power supply region of electric energy meter wireless reading system. In the aspect of software design, the system design of the use of a wide range of applications, the technology is relatively mature, and in the IAR7.30 environment and stable operation of the C programming language, using the stack in the system is the ZigBee protocol stack msstatePAN. In the system the normal operation of the network, sensor system can be completed on the electric energy meter data collection, and data can be in the network system the smooth transmission and processing, to achieve the purpose of power wireless copying table data.
