The bogie is an important component of Subway vehicle, the bogie frame is a structural component that can together wheel-axle box device, spring vibration reduction device, traction system, basis braking and body suspension system etc. The rationality of the frame structure directly decided the quality of vehicle operation and safety. The strength and stiffness of frame will affect the fatigue life of the vehicle bogie, the running stability of vehicle and the comfortable of the passengers. In order to ensure the safety of vehicle, it is necessary for frame to analyze the strength, modal and fatigue life. Based on the finite element method to structure analysis, the researchers were able to understand the structure strength and fatigue strength in the design stage, which provide the basis and the reference for optimization design, the design cycle of Subway vehicle bogie will be shorten.In this paper, the bogie of Subway vehicle is researched,3D physical model of the bogie frame is finished, the finite element analysis model of the bogie frame is established by the software of finite element; According to the strength evaluation standard of Subway vehicle, such as TB/T1335-1996 Railway vehicle strength design and test appraisal standard and TB/T2368-2005 Power bogie frame strength test method, combination of load conditions of frame is defined and the load of frame is analyzed; the frame’s structural strength is analyzed by finite element analysis software in the six conditions. At the same time, structure strength is evaluated by the criteria of strength; Through modal analysis, the natural frequency and vibration mode of is obtained. The design of the frame is reasonable; Finally, based on that analysis the fatigue life and damage distribution state of frame is predicted by the total life fatigue analysis. The design of the frame is fit to the requirement.
