Along with our country economy and the rapid development of high-speed railway, the railway system automation and intelligent of the demand is higher and higher. Traction substation as a grid energy transfer hub, its digital level to ensure the security of railway power supply system is of positive significance and efficient. Modern digital traction substation reactive power in order to reduce the power grid, improve power quality, usually installed in the traction substation parallel capacitor compensation device, the device is composed of capacitor, serial reactor, lightning arrester, circuit breaker, etc. And protecting digital traction substation protection device is an important task. The development of electronic transformer, intelligent IED device, make the development of intelligent and protection device based on microcomputer is possible.Analysis combining with and protect the hardware platform and the protection of the protection unit configuration, mainly including the over current, harmonic current, over voltage, low voltage, current, voltage differential protection, the protection software algorithm based on the configuration design. Process layer equipment status value sampling measured by electronic transformers and merging units, and through the sampling values message sent to the protection, circuit breaker and switch state using real-time high chicago-brewed GOOSE message. Sampling values of transmission mode based on IEC61850-9-2 network transmission mode. Interval layer protection measurement and control equipment and process intelligent terminal adopts chicago-brewed GOOSE communication protocol. Ethernet communication link layer based on WinPcap.Protection of software development based on the Windows platform, select VS2008 development environment, in the PC for modular design and implementation, including Ethernet communication module based on WinPcap, sampling value of message, as well as several key modules chicago-brewed GOOSE communication, and carries on the simulation test on the PC. Discussed the software portability, combined with the hardware platform of use of the existing combined unit and protection device, based on IEC61850 communication protocol to protect the software design is feasible.
